360 Law Group appoints finance director Surrey-based legal technology specialist 360 Law Group has appointed Jimi Reed as group financial director to support its continued expansion. Jimi is a chartered accountant with extensive experience as a finance director across regulated and unregulated service industries, particularly within owner-managed and founder-led businesses.

His background includes employee ownership trust exits, cashflow turnarounds, fraud investigations and preparing businesses for investment. He is also an advocate for the practical use of artificial intelligence in business and is involved in Hampshire’s AI Growth Alliance, which promotes responsible AI adoption across Hampshire and the Solent. In his new role, Jimi will oversee 360 Law Group’s finance function, including financial strategy, reporting, cash management and compliance.

He will work alongside chief executive Robert Taylor and the board to strengthen financial oversight and support the group’s long-term growth ambitions. Jimi said: “It was the company’s model that really appealed. “The consultant-led approach puts entrepreneurial lawyers at the heart of the business and gives them the freedom to build their own practices.

“In addition, the consultant model scales really well, so the big opportunity is growth. “We can bring in more talented consultants and give them first-class support. “I’ve spent much of my career with founder-led and owner-managed businesses, so that mindset resonates with me.

“It feels less like a traditional law firm and more like a platform for great lawyers, and that ambition is exciting to be part of. “For me, finance should be a genuine business partner rather than a back office function. “That means giving the board timely, reliable information to make good decisions, keeping our controls rock solid and building systems that can grow with us.
